At a recent sundowner concert for Superseedlings, we noticed a lady in the back doodling in a notepad during our concert. At the end of the concert someone peered over her shoulder and shouted out ‘you have to give this lady a free CD of yours as she has done an incredible sketch of you twp!’ The artist was none other than the talented print-maker Mimi Van Der Merwe. She always carries around a notebook to make sketches for her prints. We were lucky indeed to have ‘posed’ for our portrait with her. Please check out her work, she is a versatile artist and teacher.
